Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of All-Clad Stainless Slotted Square SpoonCustomer Review: Best style of spoon ever! Summary: 5 Stars
My mother had a squared-off spoon ever since I can remember. It is great for cooking, getting the corners of the pots, and completely covers the bottom of the pan! No need to use a spatula and a spoon with this one! I have been looking for years to find one for myself and am greatful to find one here. I would encourage all cooks of all ages and experience to get one for themself and anyone they know!
Description of All-Clad Stainless Slotted Square SpoonVery solidly constructed of stainless steel, and polished to a mirror shine, this slotted spoon has a commanding presence. The innovative perforation design allows for liquids to drain while solids remain. The handle has stay-cool, ergonomic features, as well as a hole for convenient hanging storage. Renowned worldwide for its cookware collections, All-Clad now makes kitchen accessories, and that's welcome news to serious and professional cooks. This 13-inch slotted spoon is a perfect example of the tools' professional-grade quality. It's made of heavy 18/10 stainless steel that is polished to a mirror finish. The handle, which features the same famous design used in All-Clad's cookware, is grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom for comfort and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg. The spoon is slightly cupped for scooping out, say, simmered beans and slotted so the cooking liquid stays behind. Its leading edge is straight and slightly angled to fit the bottom of a pot. All-Clad tools are dishwasher-safe and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
