I use this for cooking, not for displaying, so I don't mind the scratches. I have quite a few All-Clad pots and pans, and this is by far my favorite! This pan paired with Molly Stevens "All About Braising" cookbook make an impressive meal that your dinner guests will rave about!
Description of All-Clad Master Chef 2 10-Inch Petite Braiser Pan
Brown meats, fish or vegetables in the 2-qt. Braiser Pan by All-Clad, then simmer them slowly in liquid to complete the braising process. Use it for making paella, too. Double handles add convenience when lifting; the domed lid allows moisture and heat to circulate evenly. Heavy aluminum core covers the bottom and sides for even and thorough heating.All-Clad proudly unveils a contemporary new design of the original Master Chef cookware line. The New MC2 cookware combines the industrial style of the brushed aluminum pan exterior with the brand's signature gleaming stainless steel "stay cool" handles. The new generation of Master Chef cookware features an easy-to-clean, highly polished 18/10 stainless steel cooking surface and a thick core of aluminum for superior heat conductivity and the ultimate in cooking performance. The second generation of All-Clad's Master Chef line (MC2), this cookware combines brushed aluminum with stainless-steel accents for a contemporary look. Key to its high performance is a three-ply, bonded construction. Sandwiched between the exterior and an 18/10 stainless-steel interior lies a thick core of pure aluminum that spreads heat evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. The interior is highly polished, so it's stick- as well as corrosion-resistant. Handles, rivets, and tight-fitting lids are all gleaming stainless steel.
This beautiful round braising pan illustrates the Master Chef line's stylish yet practical design. It's 10 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep and has a domed lid that makes it perfect for braising on the stovetop or in the oven.
