Customer Review: If it breaks, you have to throw it away

I was thrilled to receive this cooker as a gift eighteen months ago. I used it a lot, and was very happy. But when I plugged it in last week, the screen filled with 8s and it wouldn't turn on. The warranty is for only one year, so we went local to repair it. No luck - All-Clad doesn't supply parts. So we called All-Clad and were told that they don't do repairs. They told us to buy a new one.
So it's a great cooker until it stops working. I think we'll use the ceramic insert as a planter.
