We purchased this from Williams & Sonoma and the first one cracked all the way through, as in, it leaked. So we put it in the box an brought it back to the store. They graciously gave us a brand new one which proceeded to crack on the second or third use. That's unacceptable. We've had Rival crock pots that last for years, but we thought we'd step it up with an All Clad. Couldn't have made a worse decision. We are going to demand that All-Clad gives us the aluminum insert for our troubles, but if (when) that doesn't fly, it looks like we'll be taking the step back down to Rival.
